With tons of wedding entertainment experience, I bring an energetic vibe to all kinds of events, ensuring guests of all ages have a great time. I use some fun transitions but always let the music take center stage. With the exception of scratch transitions, I don't typically use scratching techniques during wedding DJ sets unless specifically requested. However, I do employ basic song manipulation and seamless transitions between tracks. I firmly believe that artists have crafted their music to be enjoyed as intended, and as a DJ, my goal is to unite their collective work for your enjoyment.

I need access to the event space 1.5 hours prior to the start of the reception. This allows for me to get set up and perform a sound check with plenty of time in case anything is not working properly.

The only thing your DJ will need from you is 2 grounded power outlets and a chair set up where you would like for me to set up.

At minimum, I wear slacks and a company polo however I discuss what you'd like for me to wear and dress to suite your wedding. Whether that is boots and a plaid shirt or a suit with a jacket, I am happy to dress to fit your wedding style.

I wouldn't say that I specialize in a specific genre of music as I know and enjoy a lot of different types of music. My favorite genres include country, alternative rock, hip-hop, and 1980's-2000's rock. I have a good working knowledge of everything from polkas to best hip-hop and love to tailor the evenings music to what you and your fiancé are looking for.

I'm more than happy to play games with your guests. I have a list of game ideas on this website but am happy to try out any idea that you have to make your reception special!

Absolutely! I take great pride in my MC and event hosting skills, and I include these services at no extra cost with all DJ packages booked.

My favorite song to play is ultimately whatever song most people are going to dance to that night however if I had to pick one song, I'd say "Mr Brightside" by The Killers!

It is a running joke with family and friends that I will often be complimented on my voice and told I should be an announcer or a radio DJ.

As part of the planning process, I request a list of must play songs and do not play songs. Most couples fill this out however some just want everyone to have fun and don't care what music is played, it's up to you! You are welcome to send over longer lists of songs you'd like played if the night allows as well!

I encourage requests at every reception. It allows for me to get to know what people want to dance to. Ultimately, I don't care what music I am playing, as long as everyone is having a great time. 

I encourage requests at every reception however I do not play songs in the order that they were requested. I play them when they best fit into the night. Some requests will not be played if I feel like it will detract from the reception. The exception to this policy is the bride and groom. Any requests made by the bride and groom will have priority and if requested, the bride and groom are the only ones able to have their requested song guaranteed to be played next.

I rarely perform for public events so it is difficult to see me perform unless you happen to see me at another wedding or bridal expo. 

I encourage you to reach out to someone who has had me as their DJ to get a better idea if I would be the right fit for you.

Everything that is needed for your wedding reception. 6 hours of DJ/MC services, wireless microphones, 2 large speakers, dance floor lights, and a clean set up that doesn't draw attention away from you on your wedding day.

Yes, it does. Overtime is $200 an hour and $100 for every half hour.

Forever Young DJ Services brings along equipment that allows your DJ to keep playing music regardless of any piece of equipment failing.

I must have a dry power source and place to keep my equipment dry while performing. Otherwise, we can attempt to wait out the storm or relocate to a dry spot. Clients are encouraged to have an indoor location as a backup if their event is to take place outside

The microphones, sound equipment, and lights will all be tested prior to the start of the reception.

All payments are non refundable. $400 is due at the time of booking. 50% of the remaining cost is due 3 months prior to the reception, and the remaining amount is due 1 month prior to the reception.

For the best sound, lighting, and DJ engagement, it's ideal to place the DJ booth next to the dance floor. A space of 10' x 5' is preferred for the DJ setup, but we can work with any available area.

One of the advantages of hiring a DJ is the continuous flow of music throughout the event. Any brief breaks will be seamlessly filled using the DJ's auto-mix playlist.
